About Vex 5
Vex 5 is an entertaining, skill-based platform where players control a stickman navigating deadly obstacles and tricky terrain to reach the finish line.
Objective
In Vex 5, players control a stickman character through each level to reach the final flag without dying from obstacles. If you touch deadly obstacles like spikes or traps, your character will die instantly, and you will have to restart from the nearest checkpoint you touched. These checkpoints save your progress in the level, preventing you from having to replay the entire level after each failure.
The action game also has a time system and rewards you with medals for completing levels quickly and with few deaths, earning you gold, silver, or bronze depending on your performance.
How to control
Controls in Vex 5 are simple but require skill:
- Move left/right: arrow keys or A/D.
- Jump: up arrow key or W.
- Slide/crouch: down arrow key or S.
- Interact: The Spacebar can be used to interact with levers or checkpoints.
On mobile, you usually tap or swipe to jump, slide, and move depending on the control interface.
Obstacles through levels
Vex 5 features a variety of increasingly difficult obstacles in each level:
- Spikes: appear from the ground or on walls, and touching them is instant death. Therefore, you need to time your jumps precisely; do not jump too early when near them.
- Moving traps: such as rotating saws, spinning gears, or unexpectedly falling objects, require you to anticipate the rhythm. You should observe the movement for a few seconds before rushing forward to find a safe rhythm.
- Collapsing floors: blocks under may suddenly fall. You should run faster and jump earlier when you approach areas suspected of collapsing.
- High walls: you need to jump and cling to walls to climb higher. You should climb the wall closely and hold the jump key to cling exactly.
- Closed doors: some levels have mechanisms that need to be activated to open the way. Therefore, you should utilize the lever before proceeding to avoid unnecessary death.
