How Uno Online Came to Life
UNO was first created by Merle Robbins in 1971 and sold for $50,000, later acquired by Mattel in 1992. Over the decades, UNO became one of the most popular card games, with countless themed variations. UNO Online preserves the classic appeal, offering simple yet engaging digital gameplay for multiplayer fun.
The UNO Deck
A standard UNO deck contains 108 cards, divided into four main colors: red, blue, green, and yellow.
Number Cards
- Make up 70% of the deck.
- Each color has 19 cards numbered 0-9 (one 0 and two of each 1-9).
- Face value equals points.
Action Cards
Account for 30% of the deck and add strategy.
Every color has a pair of each action card:
- Skip Card: Next player loses a turn. 20 points.
- Reverse Card: Changes play direction. 20 points.
- Draw Two Card: Next player draws two cards and loses a turn; combinable with other +2/+4 cards. 20 points.
Wild Cards
Two Wild card types exist, and each has four cards:
- Wild Card (Change Color): Choose the next color. 50 points.
- Wild Draw Four Card: Choose the next color and force the next player to draw four cards unless blocked. 50 points. Must be played only if no card matches the current color.

Goal: Be the fastest to play every card in your hand.
How to Begin:

Ending the Round & Scoring:
- Round ends when someone clears their hand.
