Understanding the Gumball Multiverse Mayhem Plot

Gumball Multiverse Mayhem is an action game inspired by the popular animated series The Amazing World of Gumball.

The story begins when Rob kidnaps Darwin Watterson. During a confrontation with Gumball Watterson, the multiverse controller breaks in two. Gumball uses one part to summon a Cyborg Darwin from another dimension, while Rob uses the other to create a powerful army.

Following Cyborg Darwin's advice, Gumball begins summoning multiple versions of himself from across the multiverse to build a defensive army. Players must merge and upgrade Gumballs, fend off Rob's attacks, and ultimately defeat him to restore peace to the world.

How to Increase Strength and Defense

To defeat enemies in the game, players need to build a sufficiently strong Gumball team and know how to arrange their defenses effectively. Here are some important mechanics you need to understand:

Merging Gumballs to Level Up

To get stronger Gumballs, players need to merge two Gumballs of the same level.

Example:

Two Level 3 Gumballs -> merge into a Level 4 Gumball

This upgrade gives the character better attack and defense power, making it easier to deal with stronger enemies.

Summoning New Gumballs

To create more Gumballs, you need to tap the universal controller located at the bottom center of the screen. When tapped, a new summon point will appear.

However, each summoned Gumball will occupy one of the 9 available slots on the screen. Therefore, you need to arrange your team strategically to make the most of the space.

Positions of the Two Sides in Battle

In each level:

• Gumballs stand on the left side of the screen to defend.
• Rob's army attacks from the right, emerging from the Void Gate.
• Players need to prepare a strong formation before the enemy overruns the area.

Defense System

The player's only line of defense is a wall made of cardboard boxes. This is the last line of defense preventing enemies from penetrating deep into the base.

If the wall is breached, it will be very difficult to withstand subsequent attacks.

Attacks and Final Bosses

Each level includes:

Multiple waves of regular enemies

A final boss with significantly higher health and strength

Players need to prepare their formation well before the boss appears.

Failure Conditions

If Gumball's defenses' HP drops to 0, the level fails. The player must then restart the level from the beginning.

Therefore, upgrading Gumballs, arranging a suitable formation, and effective defense are key to victory.

Upgrades and Power-Up Items

When Gumballs defeat enemies, players can collect "Lightning" to use in the shop to upgrade their army. The shop has 6 upgrade items and 3 power-up items, for a total of 9 items. The price of upgrades increases with each purchase, and the price of power-up items also increases with each batch.

Upgrades

• Defense Power: Upgrades and restores HP to Gumball's army defenses.
• Money Multiplier: Increases the amount of Lightning earned when defeating enemies.
• Gumball Starting Level: Makes summoned Gumballs start at a higher level, making merging easier.
• Attack Boost: Increases the damage each Gumball deals with its attacks.
• Critical Hit Chance: Increases the chance for each Gumball to deal critical damage.
• Generator Speed: Reduces the cooldown of the universal controller to create new summon points for Gumball.

Power-Up Items

• Auto Merger: Allows the game's AI to automatically summon and merge Gumballs for one minute, freeing up player time for other tasks.

• Turbo Speed: Increases the attack speed of each Gumball for one minute.
• Defense Repair: Restores the HP of Gumball's defenses, but does not upgrade them like Defense Power.
