Link It Up! is a puzzle-platformer that challenges your wits as you design a path to the end of the room. Manipulate lines to create safe routes and avoid deadly spike traps.

In Link It Up!, your character starts in an enclosed room and must find a way to reach the opposite side. Each room features a unique layout with spike traps fixed in specific locations. To navigate past obstacles, you must reposition the lines and traverse them. With 30 levels, this game offers a compelling brain-teasing experience that is well worth a try.

How to play Link It Up!

  • Movement: Your character can run on flat surfaces and run or jump along the lines. Your goal is to guide your character safely to the end of the room.
  • Create paths by connecting lines: Each level features lines attached to fixed points. Move the ends of the lines to the green points to create safe paths, allowing your character to reach higher areas or avoid red spike traps.
  • Types of lines: There are two types of lines in Link It Up!. You can only walk or run on black lines, but you can bounce off blue lines to reach higher locations.

Controls

  • Use WASD or Arrow keys to move your character.
  • Hold the Left Mouse Button (LMB) to move the ends of the lines and create new paths.
  • Press the Right Mouse Button (RMB) or Shift to reset the line; both ends will snap back to their original fixed points.

Link It Up! Strategy

  • Design smart paths: Observe the connection points and identify safe routes. Understand the functions of the black and blue lines and use them strategically.
  • Focus on speed: In certain levels, such as Level 20, spike traps are densely packed, with connection points spaced at specific intervals. To navigate these hazards, you need to connect the lines and rapidly shift one end to a more distant point while your character is mid-jump.
  • Stay calm: Puzzle games like  Link It Up! emphasize logic and strategic challenges. Remaining calm is crucial for figuring out how to avoid the spike traps. Take the time to observe the room's layout and experiment with connection paths before you actually start moving.
