About Dino Game
Dino Game is a minimalist endless runner that challenges players to control a running dinosaur, dodge obstacles, and survive as long as possible.
How to play
In Dino Game, players control an auto-running dinosaur as it travels across an endless desert. Your task is to help the dinosaur overcome familiar obstacles such as cacti growing on the ground and birds flying overhead.
Use the spacebar to jump over obstacles and the down arrow key to duck and dodge low-flying birds. Obstacles appear at random intervals, and the speed increases over time, requiring players to stay focused. A single small collision will end the journey immediately, and you will have to start over.
Classic graphic design
Dino Game boasts a classic graphic style with two main colors: white and gray. The dinosaur, cacti, and birds are all designed using simple shapes without elaborate effects. The distance the dinosaur has traveled is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen, allowing players to track their progress.
Below the track is a leaderboard showing the top 5 players with the highest scores of the day and the top 5 highest records ever set. This motivates players to strive to improve their skills and etch their names into the leaderboard.
Tips for effective play
First, maintain a steady rhythm. Don't press keys too early or too late, especially when the game speed increases rapidly, as you get high scores. Remembering the height and timing of jumps will help you react more accurately.
Next, pay attention to flying birds. When birds appear at low altitudes, using the down arrow key to dodge is safer than jumping. This helps avoid unnecessary collisions.
Additionally, practice your long-distance observation skills. Early detection of obstacles helps you prepare to react in time, especially when many obstacles appear in quick succession
