8 Ball Pool
About 8 Ball Pool
8 Ball Pool is a competitive billiards game that challenges players to strategically pot balls by mastering angles and precision to outscore opponents.
Objective
In 8 Ball Pool, the player's goal is to complete the designated group of balls and finish the game by sinking the 8-ball into a valid hole. From the start of the game, players need to observe how the balls scatter after a break to make appropriate strategic decisions.
After determining whether their group of balls is smooth or striped, the next task is not simply to sink the ball but also to control the position of the white ball for subsequent shots. Therefore, victory depends not only on accuracy but also on the ability to calculate the trajectory and arrange the casual game strategically.
How to control
8 Ball Pool offers a simple yet technically deep experience. Players touch and drag the mouse or finger from the white ball to determine the direction of the shot, and adjust the force by extending or shortening the force bar. Simultaneously, the directional line on the table helps players accurately predict the ball's trajectory.
Furthermore, the spin system allows for adjustment of the contact point on the white ball, thereby creating shots with different spins, such as pullbacks, pushes, or off-center shots. This allows players to control the situation proactively and prepare for subsequent shots effectively.
Game rules
The rules of 8-Ball Pool are based on traditional billiards, making it easy to learn but still challenging. First, after a valid break, the player must pot a ball successfully to determine their group. From that point on, each turn must ensure the white ball touches a ball belonging to their group first. If the player pots the correct ball, they continue their turn; otherwise, the turn passes to their opponent.
In addition, errors such as missing shots, hitting the wrong ball, or dropping the white ball into a pocket will give the opponent an advantage, allowing them to place a white ball freely on the table. Importantly, the 8-ball can only be played when all balls in the group have been potted. If the 8-ball is played too early or a foul is committed while playing it, the player immediately loses the game.
