About Bad Parenting
In this game, you'll join Ron as he uncovers the truth about his family and Mr. Red Face. He's a fictional character created by adults to tell children that he'll give presents to good kids when they're asleep. But is that true?
Ron's mother is very neglectful; she works all day and comes home around midnight. Because she's the sole breadwinner, his father stays home drinking all day and venting his frustration on Ron. From the beginning of the game, it's implied that his father thinks his mother is having an affair. Ron misses the rest of this conversation because his mother tricks him into going back to his bedroom so Mr. Red Face can leave him a birthday present.
In reality, Mr. Red Face is plotting evil schemes involving terrifying supernatural phenomena. When playing Bad Parenting, you'll have to confront them. Try to protect yourself and your family!

Guide to Conquer Bad Parenting
The game consists of two main events. First, the father is abducted by Redface, then the mother is also abducted. Both events lead Ron into the closet, which acts as a gateway to another world. Ron tries to rescue his father, who is imprisoned in the dungeon, trembling and begging for something to 'stop the punishment.' His mother is seen crying at the table, where the doll prompts Ron to cast a spell to defeat Redface.
Is Bad Parenting a Sad Horror Game?
The chilling scene of Redface scurrying around the room like a stop-motion cartoon about Nosferatu actually carries a much darker meaning. The truth is, Ron was murdered on the first night. He didn't even live to see his birthday. The gift that Mr. Red Face gave the boy was actually his death.
This led many gamers to comment on the game as follows:
